The Kennedy Center’s Community Resource Center (CRC) was created to provide opportunities for Charlestown’s low-income residents, especially focusing on immigrant groups, to strengthen their self-sufficiency through information about and referrals to resources, as well as specific skills and language learning. In addition to strengthening individuals, the CRC exists to promote neighborliness, reduce social isolation, and bring people together to address issues of common concern.
